The Litigators
Zachary A. Meyer, J.D.
Zachary A. Meyer, J.D. was raised in Du Quoin, Illinois, where a life-altering tragedy — losing his father to a medical error — ignited his passion to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. Committed to protecting the rights of individuals and holding wrongdoers accountable, Zachary pursued his education with extraordinary focus and discipline.
He graduated from Du Quoin High School and continued his studies at John A. Logan College while simultaneously attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale. In May 2017, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies, graduating cum laude with a concentration in Pre-Law.
Zachary advanced to Southern Illinois University School of Law, where he demonstrated both leadership and a commitment to advocacy. He served as President of the Law and Medicine Society and Vice President of Parents Attending Law School, while researching and writing his thesis on Illinois immunity laws and childhood cancer funding. Driven by determination and resilience, he completed law school in December 2019, graduating at just 23 years old.
Licensed to practice law in Illinois and the Federal District of Southern Illinois, Zachary has distinguished himself among his peers. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the St. Clair County Bar Association. His exceptional work has earned him recognition by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Attorney for 2023, 2024, and 2025, and he has been named an Illinois Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2024 and 2025.
Beyond his legal practice, Zachary is dedicated to education and public service. He serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, helping to shape the next generation of legal professionals, and contributes to his community through his role on the Zoning Board for the Village of Aviston, Illinois.
Zachary Meyer brings relentless advocacy, compassion born of personal experience, and a proven record of excellence to every client and every case — the qualities you want in your attorney.
